General CRC Patient Information
All of the physicians of CRC are fully qualified and work as a team. Therefore, you may choose an individual physician by name or location. If a requested physician is not available at a specific time, another CRC physician may see you on a temporary basis. The doctor will obtain the patient records and initiate or continue treatment as needed.
When treatment requires hospitalization, a CRC physician will see each patient in the hospital until released. Due to surgery schedules, meetings, emergencies, etc., all CRC physicians make hospital rounds on a rotating basis.
- Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Offices are closed Saturday and Sunday
Questions for the CRC PhysiciansAll phone calls received during regular hours are answered by the CRC office staff.
Emergency calls will be handled promptly. Less urgent calls may be returned at a time when the physician is less occupied.
If an urgent colorectal problem occurs when the office is closed, please call the office where you normally see your physician to reach the answering service. Except in cases of extreme emergency, please do not go to the emergency room without first contacting the CRC answering service. This will lessen confusion and reduce delays.
Prescriptions & RefillsPrescriptions and refills are issued only during office hours. The best method for having a prescription or refill issued is to ask the pharmacist to call the office with your name and the purpose of the needed prescription. If it is necessary for you to phone the office regarding a refill, please have the name and telephone number of your pharmacy available.
