CRC Surgeons Treat Physicians and Their FamiliesThe success of CRC has resulted from consistently providing the highest quality patient care, driven by deep concern for the individual needs of each of our patients and their families. It is this consistent quality of care that brings physicians and their families to CRC for specialized treatment of colorectal diseases.
As the second largest group of colorectal surgeons in the United States, CRC has its roots in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center with 7 clinic locations to serve Greater Houston and surrounding areas. CRC has a team of 13 surgeons who are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the colon, rectum and anus.
Through our fellowship program, affiliated with the University of Texas Medical School, the surgeons of CRC have trained more colon and rectal surgeons than any single training program. Each of our surgeons have completed initial training in general surgery, followed by rigorous training for colorectal treatment and procedures. CRC founder Donald R. Butts, MD, was the first graduate of the fellowship program in 1971. Many of the CRC surgeons have since graduated from the fellowship program.
